Officine Meccaniche di Lesmo, or better known as OM Lesmo, was established in 1962 and it is one of the oldest and most well known companies still present in the manufacture of rotating equipment for the wire & cable and steel rope manufacturing industries.
Its history includes important events like:
● Establishing Lesmo Machinery Germany for sales and after sales service;
● The formation of Lesmo Machinery America for sales and after sales service;
● SCS (Static Control system) established to fulfill all the needs and production of electrical parts and components required for all of OM Lesmo’s production line;
● Acquisition in 2002 of Eurodraw Energy for the manufacture and supply of drawing lines for non-ferrous metals and alloys including Rod Breakdown Lines, Single & Twin Wire Drawing, Intermediate & Multiwire Drawing Lines, Spoolers & Coilers, Annealers.
This allowed OM Lesmo to cover a combination of products in the wire & cable industries at competitive pricing providing turnkey solutions.
Being able to offer a complete range of stranding, bunching and cabling machinery together with its drawing lines for non-ferrous metals and alloys under one roof, a new image of the OM LESMO GROUP has been created.
